The central floating shelf table mimics the smooth curves, and becomes a great spot for setting items ready to take out the door, or a drop off point. Room for an island and a peninsula? Absolutely! This kitchen, by our Heirlooms team, features both. The working island keeps all tasks right at hand, while the seating peninsula (located by a patio doors) keeps guests and gourmands out of the way.

While we can sometimes have a quick turn around, some clients reach out a year in advance (we love this). From our design team working with you to ensure all details are perfect, to selections of materials and finishes, and final measure and approval, there is a lot that goes into creating bespoke cabinetry for your home or business. Keeping the symmetry of the upper cabinets that flanked the range hood was important, but that right door could get in the way when open. The sliding system you see above? Bespoke Hardware Kitchen

You would never know! ⤵The end of a pantry is the perfect spot to create room for a broom cabinet. We chose a decor panel on the end in the inset face frame as a guise for the door, and touch latch opening means no visible hardware is required. How clever!

Mudroom reveal from Project Hometown! From shoe storage open shelves, and a good mix of hanging and shelf storage in the tall cabinets, this mudroom can handle storage beautifully. We fully trimmed around the window area between the tall cabinetry to colour block the entire wall.

Simple Built-In Coordination Tips

Tips for simple built-ins:Coordinate woods, you don't need to match, but pull stain colors from the light, medium or darkest grain from flooring or other wood elements in the room. Floating shelves offer clean and simple lines. Painting out the cabinetry to match the trim or wall colour will make it feel like it is original to the home. Touch latch (nonvisible) hardware creates a paneled and simple look.
